Lately I’ve been noticing bandage dresses more than usual, and it’s
definitely trending right now. This dress is one of
those that will probably never go out of style. Bandage dresses are spanx like and
meant to be body hugging to accentuate one’s curves. It comes in a variety of
variations, solid or color-blocking. The most popular name when it comes to a bandage
dress is Herve Lerger and anything bandage without his name on is meant to be inspired by his line. Owning one can be the price of someone’s monthly
mortgage! I just love the tight-fitted, simplicity, and appeal the dress gives
off. You can either wear it just as or dazzle it up. This is one of those
dresses where the saying “less is more” would go really well with it.
Some of Herver Lerger dresses that I"m really loving:
Bandage dress also known as bodycon on curvy girls is like peaches and cream... It just goes so well together!
Kim Kardashian can definitely rock any Herve Lerger dress. It's suiteable and compliments her figure so well!
Hello my fellow readers! I"m back with another post and I absolutely love this dress. I saw a similar style from a famous Vietnamese designer, Nha Khanh and was very drawn to the style of it. It reminds me of a peplum shirt except dress. While at forever 21 I stumbled upon a lot of dresses with the same style and HAD to get a similar version of it. I just love how it flares out at the waist giving that hour glass figure illusion. It's so comfy and effortless to wear, which I'm all for.
A friend of mine recently came back in the states to visit from Med School. We decided to seize the opportunity to catch up and do a photo shoot. I've been expressing to him about my fashion blog for a while now, so it was the perfect opportunity for me to get some professional quality pictures before I'll have to resort to my poweshoot camera :(.
We shot here once at the same exact location, four years ago. I can't believe how quickly time flew by. Literally, like a blink of an eye... Well, at least for me but not so for him. Funny how things change but others remain the same, like this location.
I LOVE this look, because it really captures who I am at this moment in my life. I like to look put together but I also like to kick it back too. I think this outfit would be great for those vacations that require A LOT of walking like New York city for instance. I needed a whole new set of feet after my 3 days there.
Here I changed up the look and added platforms just to give it a more feminine and dressed-up look.
